Meet Robin Nicolette Wright

Hello, I'm Robin. My full name is Robin Nicolette Wright, and my story begins in Canada, born to parents of Jamaican descent. As a little girl, I was always drawn to beauty, fashion, and creativity of all kinds, with a particular love for painting. It was a world I felt destined to explore.

My first name, Robin, has a unique origin story—a beautiful moment of divine synchronicity. When my mother was in the hospital, undecided between naming me Robin or Nicolette (my father's choice), she had a serendipitous encounter with a well-known Canadian television host, Dini Petty. Dini suggested the name Robin, and my mother always told me this story. It's a reminder that even my name was part of a bigger plan. As I've gotten older, I've started to embrace and use my middle name, Nicolette, more often—a way of honoring my past and the paths that brought me here.

My journey has been a testament to following my own intuition, even when it wasn't the popular choice. I started my career in the late '90s as a makeup artist, diving headfirst into the world of prestige cosmetics. I spent years as a freelance makeup artist and beauty advisor, always connected to the beauty industry. Yet, I felt a pull toward something new. In the early 2000s, I discovered graphic design and went back to school to study computer graphics. This decision led me to a career in technology, but I never left my two passions behind. My life has always existed at the intersection of beauty and design—a fusion that has allowed me to remain grounded while consistently thinking outside the box.

In 2020, my faith and my passions converged. I launched YESHUA Skin Cosmetics as an extension of my clothing brand, YESHUA Apparel. The name "Yeshua" is a powerful symbol of my faith and a guiding light for my brands. It represents a deeper purpose behind what I do. Both brands are built on the principles of sustainability and clean beauty, with a mission to do good for our planet and those who inhabit it. The intersection of fashion and beauty is not just my career—it's my calling. It's my way of helping you not only look beautiful but feel beautiful, all while knowing you are part of a positive, purpose-driven journey.
